My husband had a bone marrow transplant on August 11th this year. Even though this journey has been tough, we got news of his bone marrow now being 100 percent of his donor cells yesterday. As I try to run, walk, maybe even crawl during this half marathon; I am reminded that your race is not just a normal event. Your race provides life when so many times I have seen death knocking at my husbands life in these short 7 months. This race is for us, for those still Fighting, and for those I have seen past away this year. Thank you all for what you do!
