10K -The Lieutenant
Miracle Match 10K – Sunday, January 26, 2020
Want to come out and play with the Big Boys but not quite ready to tackle 13.1 or 26.2? Here’s the perfect opportunity to join the day!!!
See it as a stepping stone, a fun way to share the first five miles with your half marathon buddy. See it as fun!
The 10K begins at the same place and time as the Half Marathon and Relay, at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday. The course follows the full and half all the way through Baylor, around McLane stadium and along the Brazos River, allowing runners to spend time with their friends and family who might be running the longer distances. At the 5 mile mark, it returns to Indian Springs Park, it turns off the main course, and crosses the river. A short jog along the river path, a quick 180 degree turn, and a final dramatic crossing of the Waco suspension bridge with the same beautiful finish line photo and all the amenities of the longer distances, to the finish line!!!
Flatter than a pancake…and certainly flatter than the half… just get out there and enjoy!
Live music, fajitas, beer and margaritas plus a fabulous hand cut, custom finisher medal. Hang out all day and cheer on the runners in the Half Marathon and the Relays!
This year ALL 10K finishers will receive a finisher medal… because you are all AWESOME.
Plus… All 10K Finishers will receive a Flamin’ Hot Participant T-Shirt and a Goodie Bag!
